First off let me give a shoutout to the homie DJ Fresh 85. Everybody came out to party it up for his 25th birthday at Regne. I had a good time and the whole event was just all around awesome. Big Sean came through to show love, he's a real cool dude and his performance was dope. Good people and good music made for a real good night. Shout out to everybody who came through, AZ stand up.

Early in the day I was supposed to shoot at the skatepark but that didn't work out. I decided since it was Earth Day and I was out already that I would go take some shots anyway. After that I was supposed to shoot downtown but it was getting late and as soon as I got there it started raining. I called it a day and started to head back home but on my way I saw I crowd of people walking and beating drums so I followed them. They ended up in front of the Sheraton in downtown Phoenix. They were protesting against senate bill 1070. All the news channels showed up and you could just see how stressed the hotel managers were.

Doll House Fashion Show

The show last night was pretty dope. The place was packed all the way to the back. The whole show ran very smooth and the live music by the G-Heads was the icing on the cake, real cool and soulful. Props to High Society Enterprises and Jadoir for putting on a good event. Shoutout to my Illustrious Few fam, and to E.Batt and AG from the Y.E.A team. I'd also like to give a shoutout to the ladies of F.D.I.B, to all the models and to everyone else who participated in the event.

Hussle In The House

I just got back from the Nipsey Hussle show downtown put on by High Society. It was dope and the Slauson Boyz even came through to show love. All in all it was a good night. Everybody was just kicking back and having a good time watching the opening acts, then Nipsey came and shut it down. He was a cool dude and was showing mad AZ love. The cops started tripping at 12 and said the place had to close or something so he only had like a 10 min spot, but it was still sick. I got some video that I'll post later.

Los Of Baltimore

A couple weeks ago I got invited to a session with Baltimore rapper Los. This dude is one of the smartest cats I've ever heard spit. He created this style called pattern rap and it's something you just have to hear for yourself. Watch the video.

After hearing this track I'm really looking forward to Thank Me Later. After he hooked up with Wayne I sort of looked at that as a sellout move but it's all good, I just wasn't into the whole "Young Money" hype. He's been doing his thing and I respect it, and I doubt he has ever said something in a song that wasn't true.

Longboard?

Lately I've been cruising around on this longboard and it's been pretty dope. It's real relaxing and it's a super smooth ride. I never really had an interest in them until my brother brought one home and now I feel somewhat addicted. One push and you can coast for what seems like forever. It's real cool especially since the weather is so nice right now. You should get one.

I took this at a park down the street from where I live. My uncle told me this quote the other day. "The basics to success are thinking, reflecting and having the strength to bring it into action." I've been doing the thinking part, started to reflect, then after this it's just accomplishing goals.

These past couple weeks I did a lot of thinking. I came to realize more than I had before about a lot of things, mostly the people around me. I deleted my twitter and every other social networking website I had except for facebook, which still might see deletion. I decided to clean out my blog and start fresh because in my opinion it's the start of a new beginning. You can still check out my Flickr to see my photography. Thank you to anyone who was keeping up with my blog knowsnobounds, but now we are on to bigger and better things.
